Kim is an inspiration and has helped me get to 33 marathons. Slow, deliberate, focused achievement of goals, one by one.
If the goal is too big, break it down to smaller bits. If the mara is too scary, try the half mara at 21.1 km. Or the 10km. Or the 5. Or the 1 km run. Some days the goal is to put on the shoes and walk in the kitchen for 5 minutes. But set the goal, no matter how small, and hit it. Then build up. Get two days in a row. Or three days in a row- and harness the momentum.
10 blogs now completed, a small goal, and it is done. Now to the next goal.
I encourage you to set up your goals, and start taking small steps. Left right left right. You will soon pass a mile marker and be amazed at your progress. We can work together on a variety of topics.
