Here we go... two weeks to go...
Another check box being checked this weekend: the last two team assignments are being drafted...
One week for these assignments and two weeks for the final papers... that is it- then the OMP and Residence... the hardest kilometres are now...not over, but this is the wall...
In the marathon, at 32km, the wheels fall off... literally and figuratively...
Most people will only train to 32km. That is all you need. That is all that is actually beneficial. After 32 your body is out of stored food (glycogen) and will literally consume itself, muscle protein first.
Drink some water, listen to the body, watch form, assess pace, tend to the blisters, watch the heart rate, eat a power gel, chew an advil... you are at the wall, and quitting isn't an option... ahead of you are the last steps...
