Thursdays are special for me. That is when my Dawnbreakers Toastmasters club fills my sails with optimism and deliberate focus and drive.
What is Toastmasters?
A chance to practice public speaking and leading.
Different clubs meet at different times, and this club is worth the early start.
The kicker is that the pool opens at 530AM. I get to swim some lengths, hit the hot tub, drink my smoothy and then brush my teeth loudly without waking anyone. A real firecracker start to a day.
By the time I am presenting or speaking in my club I have eaten two breakfasts had some exercise and feel amazing.
These early bird habits have real power. Most good habits do. This habit has spilled into other days, and when I can, the 5AM alarm clock is turned off before it sounds off and I am gone.
What has you turned on? What has you kicking it into high gear? When can you steal time for yourself to light the fuse? Or a moment of serenity? Is there something you can alter slightly to squeeze more out of yourself?
